HOME GROUPS

Why Home Groups? The purpose of Nampa Bible Church Home Groups is for believers to grow in unity by meeting regularly with their brothers and sisters in Christ and to grow in personal holiness by studying God's Word.

What happens at a Home Group? Home Groups are a time for families to get together, to grow closer as brothers and sisters in Christ, and to study and discuss God's Word and how it applies to their lives. This kind of closeness comes about through prayer, testimonies, Bible study and community service. It's a tremendous opportunity to get to know God's family better AND to grow in your personal holiness. And yes, babysitting is provided.

What will we be studying? Topics will be determined by YOUR group at your first meeting. Past topics have included the Gospel, fellowship, evangelism, stewardship, idolatry, hospitality, prayer, teachability, suffering, grace, zeal, church traditions, marriage and parenting.

Is there homework? Typically, yes. But, don't let a possible lack of time prevent you from attending. Each individual can do as much, or as little, preparation as they desire. If you can't get your homework done you'll still benefit yourself, and others, with good discussion time.
